Online Compassionate Neuro-affirming Psychology across Australia

When everything feels heavy, you don't have to carry it alone

Welcome to Bonacci Practice Psychology Care. We are here to support you.

Life can be difficult at times and you do not have to carry this alone.  We offer personalised neuro-affirming therapy – working with how your brain functions rather than against it.  We will adapt tools and skills to suit you.

There are a few ways you can fund your care:

  • With a GP Referral: If you bring a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP, you will get a Medicare Rebate for up to 10 sessions each  year. This means your final gap fee is $133.45.
  • Through the NDIS: We support both self-managed and plan-managed participants, usually under the Capacity Building (Improved Daily Living) budget.
  • Privately: You are welcome to pay fully out-of-pocket. Check with your private health fund to see if they cover psychology or therapy. appproach –

BPsySci(Hons), MprofPsy, MAAPi

I am privileged to support clients in their treatment journeys, whether making meaningful changes or finding closure from painful experiences.

I see therapy as a collaborative journey between client and therapist, and while it can sometimes be confronting, my primary role is to create a  environment for us to address the concerns that have led you to seek support.

I have experience assisting clients navigating challenges related to ADHD, Autism, depression, anxiety, panic, chronic health issues, life transitions, workplace stress, and relationship difficulties.

I have experience in diverse settings, including private practice, EAP and non-profit organisations.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, connecting with nature, and enjoying a good cup of coffee.

I look forward to the opportunity of working with you.

Therapy FAQ's

We do not offer in-clinic sessions. All of our therapy sessions are conducted via Telehealth, using either video or phone calls.  Combined with our extended opening hours on weekdays and weekends, provides you with the flexibility to book sessions at a time that best suits your schedule.

No, Bonacci Practice does not bulk bill. However, Medicare rebates are available for eligible clients with a Mental Health Treatment Care Plan.

Our regular appointment hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM (AEST), and Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM (AEST).
If you require a time outside of these hours, please let us know and we will do our best to accommodate you.

You can get a referral for psychology sessions by speaking with a GP. If this is your first time seeking a mental health referral, most GPs prefer that you book a longer appointment to allow enough time to discuss your needs and to prepare a referral.

There is a maximum number of six sessions on each referral, and you can access up to 10 subsidised sessions each calendar year. At the end of each referral, you will need to check in with your doctor to discuss your progress, and an updated referral can then be made.

Many private health funds offer some level of coverage for psychology, but you will have to check your health insurance policy.

You can only claim from either Medicare or your private health fund for any given appointment.

If you’re interested in online psychology care, please contact us for further information or you may directly book by selecting ” book an appointment” button.

Sessions are 50 minutes. This is the standard length for a therapy session.

A therapy session costs $235. If you have a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP), you can then claim a Medicare rebate of $101.55. Alternatively, some private health insurers will cover part of the cost of a session, check with your insurer for details.

Payment must be made before the session. You will be sent a payment link.

In the first session, we assess the challenges you are facing, set therapeutic goals and start working on our therapeutic plan. Over the next few sessions, we develop the plan further, building insights and new skills. You’re encouraged to practice new skills in between sessions to develop them further.

Yes. Please remember to give us at least 24 hour’s notice for sessions you cannot attend, otherwise the full amount of your session will be charged.
